Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Route Driver in Hereford, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven values.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including production-adjacent spaces, loading areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter, to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and document arrivals, departures, and relevant observations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed by established procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol activities, and security-related concerns, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and designated client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
