Job summary

Allied Universal in Indianapolis is seeking a Security Officer – Security Clearance Patrol Driver. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and an active DoD Secret Clearance to protect clients in Aero/Defense facilities.

You will perform routine patrols, respond to incidents, and deliver strong customer service in a high‑demand environment. Work shifts include nights and weekends as part of a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required prior to employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required for certain positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and security-related procedures as per site policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular patrols of the location and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor conditions and report on site status and needs.
• Communicate with site management and personnel regarding incidents and maintenance.
• Document observations and activities according to site procedures.
