Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for Driver Operations in McLean, VA. This role requires monitoring, access control, and patrol duties to safeguard facilities across tech/telecom spaces.

You will provide customer service, document incidents, and coordinate with responders as needed. The position demands an active DoD Secret Clearance, a valid driver’s license, and a strong background in security.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entrances, visitor activity, and authorized access to technology-focused facilities, documenting and reporting unusual activity, access concerns, and security-related incidents.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, technology spaces, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare accurate reports, maintain required logs, and support compliance with site-specific security-related procedures.
