Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Clearance Required Patrol Driver in Fort Wayne, IN. This full-time role requires patrolling aerospace/defense locations, providing customer service, and maintaining a secure environment during assigned shifts.

Will require an active DoD Secret Clearance, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work a schedule including day and night shifts. A background check and drug screen are part of employment.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21 for armed roles.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points and observe for irregular or suspicious activity, reporting findings according to site protocols.
• Communicate clearly with team members, site personnel, and/or visitors as necessary to support a secure environment.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.
• Remain alert to changing conditions within the location and adapt duties accordingly to support security-related operations.
