Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company in North America, seeks a Part-Time Security Officer in Houston, TX. You will patrol, monitor access, and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents.

The role offers flexible schedules, a focus on safety, and opportunities to advance into other shifts or positions within Allied Universal. A background check and drug screen are required where permitted by law.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, team-oriented culture. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense-related location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, entry points, parking areas, and restricted areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report irregularities or suspicious conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
