Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, invites applications for the role of Security Officer Armed Mobile Patrol Driver in Polkton, NC. You will perform armed mobile and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide exceptional customer service while ensuring safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Conduct armed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and disturbances calmly and professionally following post orders.
• Monitor restricted areas, verify entry, and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Carry and maintain authorized equipment in accordance with laws and site policies.

As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Patrol Driver in Polkton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government corrections location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. A valid driver’s license is required. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, team-focused culture built on agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur: 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat: 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government correctional location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorized entry, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Carry and maintain authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, site policies, and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
