Allied Universal in San Diego, CA is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver to safeguard tenants and visitors at a commercial real estate site. You will perform regular patrols, monitor entry points, respond to incidents, and provide welcoming customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property staff while carrying out site-specific procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout commercial office buildings, parking areas, common spaces, loading areas, and property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe activity within assigned areas, and report security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Document daily activities, patrols, incidents, and unusual occurrences accurately in required reports and logs.

What You'll Do
