Job Description

As a Security Officer Licensed Patrol Driver in Pittsburgh, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. • Mon 08:30 AM – 04:30 PM
• Tue 08:30 AM – 04:30 PM
• Wed 08:30 AM – 04:30 PM
• Thur 08:30 AM – 04:30 PM
• Fri 08:30 AM – 05:30 PM

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, lobby, parking areas, ATM areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site policies, reporting unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
