As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Pittsburgh, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols throughout parking facilities, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors with professionalism and clear communication. You will support a welcoming environment while reporting observations and responding to concerns. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to parking patrons, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of parking facilities, garages, lots, entrances, exits, pedestrian areas, and surrounding perimeters.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, parking facility hazards, access concerns, damaged equipment, and other security-related issues according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating relevant information to site representatives and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
