Allied Universal in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol to provide customer service, deter security incidents, and support site procedures at a financial institution. The role includes unarmed patrols, clear communication with staff, and timely reporting of observations.

The position offers a part-time schedule (Sat 6:00 AM–2:00 PM; Sun 6:00 AM–2:00 PM) with competitive pay of $17.75 per hour.

Qualifications

• A drug screen will be required where permitted by law.

• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security procedures and access control.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and report observations following procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interior, exterior, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity per site policies and procedures.
• Prepare incident reports and logs documenting observations and events.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate clearly with visitors and staff, report observations, and respond professionally to evolving situations. Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity in accordance with site policies and financial institution procedures.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation for security-related observations and events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
