Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, invites you to join as a Security Officer Patrol in Pittsburgh, PA. In this full-time role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees, customers, and visitors.

The position offers a competitive pay rate of $20.25 per hour and a schedule from Wednesday through Sunday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Background investigation required.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Driver’s license required only for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors per site security protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior/exterior areas, parking, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site policies; verify credentials and direct guests.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies using established procedures.
• Prepare clear reports of patrols, incidents, and access concerns.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees, customers, and visitors. • Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the business perimeter, reporting unusual conditions or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, verifying credentials and directing guests to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, access concerns, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
