Job summary

Allied Universal in Moline, IL is hiring a full-time Security Officer to support a manufacturing site. You will provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors and perform site-specific security procedures during evening shifts.

Duties include regular unarmed patrols, monitoring access points, responding to alarms, and documenting incidents. A valid driver's license and background check are required.

Pay Rate: $19.25 / Hour

• Mon 04:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue 04:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed 04:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur 04:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 04:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Complete required activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating relevant information to the incoming security-related professional.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 19 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
