Job summary

Allied Universal® in Dallas, TX, is looking for a Security Officer Bilingual Vehicle Patrol Driver who will protect clients across manufacturing and industrial sites. This is a full-time driving role requiring a valid license and strong customer service and communication skills.

The position emphasizes routine patrols, site access monitoring, incident response, and a visible presence to deter security concerns.

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience is required.
• Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing Spanish is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required per Allied Universal policy.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial areas, including exterior, perimeter, parking areas, entry points, and shipping/receiving locations.
• Monitor access by verifying authorized personnel, visitors, and deliveries per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document observations.
• Help deter unauthorized access, theft, property damage, and other security concerns through a visible patrol and timely reporting.

As a Security Officer supporting a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 11:00 AM - 07:30 PM
• Thur 11:00 AM - 07:30 PM
• Fri 11:00 AM - 07:30 PM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial areas, including the facility exterior, perimeter, parking areas, entry points, and shipping/receiving locations.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying authorized personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, theft, property damage, and other security-related concerns through a visible patrol presence and timely reporting.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing Spanish is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
