• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required to pre-employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by following site procedures and access-control protocols.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor logs, and communicate concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, escalating when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter; document observations.
• Deter unauthorized activity by guiding visitors and assisting with inquiries.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Driver Operations in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Security Professional supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will deliver outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor logs, and communicate access concerns according to established site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including offices, common spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter, while documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns.
• Support a professional workplace environment by providing directions, assisting with client inquiries, and helping to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
