Qualifications

• 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Fluent in Spanish (read, write, speak).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law and company policy.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing, warehouse, loading dock, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain visitor, contractor, and vehicle records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel when needed.
• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and security-related activities in clear and timely reports.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Bilingual Patrol in Dallas, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Sat 02:00 PM – 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have access control or badge experience preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
