Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Miami, TX. You will patrol industrial areas, deter unauthorized activity, monitor access, and deliver excellent customer service while reflecting the company’s values.

This full-time position pays $19.00 per hour with weekly pay. Schedule includes Mon–Sun nights from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM; a valid driver’s license, 18+ years, and a high school diploma or equivalent are required, along with background and drug screening as per

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as per federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of industrial work areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by checking credentials and directing authorized visitors.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Complete routine activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoffs.

• Sat 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Sun 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of industrial work areas, access points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by checking credentials, directing authorized visitors, and reporting access concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Complete routine activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoffs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
