Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by following site security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of loading areas, shipping/receiving zones, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access by observing entry/exit activity, verifying credentials, and documenting traffic per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and report observations to appropriate contacts.
• Prepare clear patrol and incident reports while maintaining professional communication.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of loading areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by observing entry and exit activity, verifying credentials as required, and documenting visitor, vendor, and delivery traffic in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting observations and coordinating with appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, irregularities, and security-related activities while maintaining professional communication with personnel and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
