Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, seeks a Part Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol Driver Escort) in Brandon, FL. You will protect clients across Retail/Malls and other settings, building a schedule that fits your life via our Claim a Shift platform.

This role requires a valid driver s license and focuses on visible presence, customer service, and safety. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, deter unauthorized

Qualifications

• Valid drivers license required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required per state/local laws.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Complete incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation accurately and in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
