Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Driver in Amarillo, TX to serve and safeguard clients across Retail/Malls and beyond. This role offers a flexible schedule via our Claim a Shift platform and includes unarmed patrols, strong customer service, and a visible security presence.

You will conduct regular patrols, respond calmly to incidents, maintain logs, and coordinate with store leadership and emergency responders.

• Observe and report suspicious activity, potential theft, and hazards to store leadership or law enforcement.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports and communicate with staff and responders.

This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements. Job Schedule:

• Thur: 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM
• Sat: 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail sales floor, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, customer disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, potential theft-related concerns, hazardous conditions, and policy violations to appropriate store leadership and/or law enforcement.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while communicating professionally with store personnel, customers, and emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
