Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver for Albuquerque, NM. This part-time position offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, providing income stability and growth opportunities.

Pay rate is $20.18 per hour. The role emphasizes reliable hours at an assigned site with opportunities to scale to a full schedule by picking additional shifts when available.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Must be 18+ (21+ for armed roles) and able to work at least part-time.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facility areas, including entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Albuquerque, NM, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.18 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeSat09:00 AM - 09:00 PMSun09:00 AM - 09:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
