Job summary

Allied Universal in Albuquerque, NM is hiring a Security Officer – Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Mobile Driver to provide reliable, customer-focused security at a designated site. You will maintain a visible presence while patrolling, monitoring access, and responding to incidents as needed.

This flexible role offers fixed anchor shifts with the possibility to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform, helping you earn extra income while building experience in a leading security

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required for driving positions.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

• Background checks and drug screening required.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Mobile Driver in Albuquerque, NM, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.55 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.


• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.


• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, reporting observations and documenting activities according to site procedures.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the shopping center, including common areas, parking areas, exterior walkways, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity.


• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the property, and assist with directing visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.


• Communicate professionally with property personnel, retail staff, and local responders as needed while maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.


• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.


• A guard card/license is preferred.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
