Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare and pharmaceutical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, laboratories, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and support visitor and contractor entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Pay Rate: $24.11 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
