As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Evening Shift in Frederick, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare and pharmaceutical facility interiors, exterior areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate entry and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Support a professional, orderly environment by reporting maintenance concerns, access-control issues, and other security-related conditions that may require follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience are preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
