Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Documentation in Stamford, CT for a part-time role at a commercial property. You will monitor, patrol, and report observations while delivering excellent customer service to tenants and visitors.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will complete daily reports, respond to incidents, and maintain a visible presence to deter security-related events. The schedule offers daytime and evening shifts with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Background check conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• A random drug screen may be required; subject to applicable law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be needed prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel by following site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the property and perimeter locations to identify unusual conditions or unauthorized activity; report observations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally; notify appropriate personnel and document activities.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in line with policy to maintain an orderly environment.
• Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports, and coordinate with leadership and property representatives as needed.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, entrances, common areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with property policies, helping to maintain an orderly environment.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications, and coordinate with Allied Universal leadership and property representatives as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
