Allied Universal in San Diego, CA is hiring a Security Officer Patrol Documentation to safeguard clients across commercial real estate locations. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor areas, perform routine patrols, maintain visibility, and report security concerns while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Requires minimum age 18 for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout building interiors, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and building information, report unauthorized access or suspicious behavior.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate daily activities, incidents, and conditions to leadership.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout building interiors, common areas, parking facilities, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following site procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and building information, and report unauthorized access or suspicious behavior to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain communication with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts regarding daily activities, incidents, and observed conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
