Allied Universal in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Security Officer Experienced Patrol Specialist to safeguard clients across industries and maintain a visible security presence on site. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and support badge systems while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires two years of security experience, a high school diploma, and adherence to background checks and drug screening.

Competenze

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Experienced Patrol Specialist in Pensacola, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control activities, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will deliver outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and contribute to a caring, team-focused culture built on integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and following site-specific access control procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
