Allied Universal in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Inspector to serve and safeguard clients across industries. This full-time role pays $18.00 per hour and follows a DayTime schedule: Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Thu 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per laws.
• Drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required before employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials, and direct guests as per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and emergencies calmly and notify appropriate personnel.
• Document observations and patrol activity; communicate information to leadership and site contacts.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and assigned areas; verify credentials and direct guests in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately; communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
