Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced - Part Time Unarmed for Pensacola, FL. This role offers reliable, fixed shifts with opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform, providing income stability and pathways to full-time positions.

Holders of a guard card/licence are preferred; minimum two years in security and a high school diploma are required. The position includes benefits and a flexible, supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Communicate professionally with site representatives, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related activities and observations.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Pensacola, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate:

$18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
