Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for full-time, unarmed roving patrol at our Pensacola, FL location. You will protect people and property across logistics and distribution sites, maintain a visible presence, and respond to incidents with professional communication.

This role emphasizes safety, customer service, and teamwork within a dynamic security team. Salary is $20.00 per hour with daytime and night shifts.

Competenze

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Roving Patrol in Pensacola, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location supporting disaster response operations, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location supporting disaster-response operations.
• Respond to incidents, operational disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, warehouse spaces, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor credentials as directed, and document arrivals, departures, and unusual activity.
• Assist with maintaining orderly vehicle, pedestrian, and delivery traffic flow during changing operational conditions and/or emergency deployments.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
