As a Security Officer Patrol Coverage in Knoxville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will support access control, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and deliver exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $15.24 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeThur10:00 PM - 09:00 AMSat01:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun09:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.


• Monitor access points and visitor, employee, and vehicle movement in accordance with site procedures.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns according to established protocols.


• Document observations, incidents, and completed patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
