Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Driver for a Knoxville, TN location. You will provide security services to tenants and visitors, conducting patrols and maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service.

The position requires a valid driver’s license and a willingness to work a two-evening schedule (Fr 2–10 PM, Sa 2–10 PM). Allied Universal emphasizes growth, smart tools, and percs for its employees.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.16 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail center, including common areas, parking areas, storefronts, and the surrounding perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor for and report suspicious activity, property concerns, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel and/or management.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information during shift transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
