Allied Universal in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Inspection to monitor and protect client sites at a logistics and distribution location. You will patrol areas, verify access, and maintain a visible security presence while delivering professional customer service.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Inspection in Knoxville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support the flow of operations. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture with integrity and teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking lots, building exteriors, access points, and perimeter areas at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and driver credentials as required, and report unauthorized activity or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and documenting observations.
• Observe shipping and receiving activity for unusual conditions, help to deter unauthorized access, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
