Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer in Bristol, IN to monitor and protect client sites, provide customer service, and deter incidents with a visible presence. You will support access control, conduct patrols, and respond to incidents following site procedures.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access activity and assist with visitor management, credential verification, and direction of authorized personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate contacts.
• Complete detailed reports, maintain required activity logs, and communicate information to leadership.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
