Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Preparedness in Bristol, IN. The role offers flexible, reliable hours with fixed anchor shifts and optional add-on shifts through our scheduling platform.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access activity and follow visitor management procedures, maintaining awareness of authorized entry requirements for employees, contractors, and deliveries.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols and promptly reporting observations.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.
