Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a full-time Security Officer for a logistics and distribution site in Missouri. You will provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while enforcing site policies and responding to incidents during night shifts.

Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring access, documenting incidents, and communicating with site leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and security-related procedures.
• Access control and badge handling experience.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles or 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and report them according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse, loading dock, trailer yard, parking, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points, visitor and driver entry, deliveries, and vehicle traffic per site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security activities and communicate with site leadership.

Pay Rate: $16.28 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout warehouse, loading dock, trailer yard, parking, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor and driver entry, deliveries, and vehicle traffic in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
