Qualifications

• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age; 21+ for armed roles.
• A background investigation will be conducted as required by law.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may vary by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site procedures; report irregularities and maintain documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies with calm, problem-solving actions and notify appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear activity and incident reports and communicate information to Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Patrol Compliance in Albuquerque, NM, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

$18.50 / Hour

DayTime Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, students, staff, visitors, and/or researchers while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of educational and research facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site‑specific procedures, reporting irregularities and maintaining required documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• P possess high school diploma or equivalent?
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
