Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Store Patrol in Albuquerque, NM. This flexible role offers anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings.

The base pay is $18.00 per hour, with a fixed shift from 4:15 PM to 10:15 PM on Sundays. This position provides entry into a leading security and facility services company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Background investigation required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas, as assigned.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate store personnel and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Assist with access control, opening and closing procedures, and documenting incidents through accurate reports.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Store Patrol in Albuquerque, NM, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSun04:15 PM - 10:15 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
