Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• All qualified applicants considered per applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply; varies by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor restricted areas, verify credentials, and maintain visitor/incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly, notifying site contacts and emergency personnel as needed.
• Report hazards and maintenance concerns observed during patrols per site procedures.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $21.05 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel when needed.
• Report hazards, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues observed during patrols or post assignments in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
