Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Risk Detection in Salt Lake City, UT. You will monitor and patrol facilities, ensure access control, and respond to alarms while delivering exceptional customer service in a dynamic aerospace/defense setting.

The role requires compliance with security protocols, background checks, and a drug screen. Salary is $21.05 per hour with a full-time schedule and diverse shift coverage to ensure site safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors while enforcing site access and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents and alarms with calm, professional problem-solving and escalate per protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor restricted areas, verify credentials, and document visitor, vehicle, and incident information.
• Maintain a professional presence to deter unauthorized access and support site security operations.

Pay Rate: $21.05 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Thur: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Fri: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sat: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, production areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, vehicle, and incident information accurately.
• Maintain a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized access and supports security-related operations in accordance with site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
