Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Detail in Twentynine Palms, CA to protect government facilities and other sites. You will perform unarmed patrols, maintain visible presence, and deliver excellent customer service while reporting observations with integrity.

The role is full-time with a daytime schedule and an hourly rate of $21.49. Applicants must pass background checks and drug screening; state/local licensing requirements may apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check conducted in accordance with federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local law and may be required.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while enforcing site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeters to identify hazards or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and direct individuals to service areas per site procedures.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents and emergencies; notify appropriate personnel or responders as directed.
• Prepare clear reports and maintain activity logs for incidents and patrols.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a government human services location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor activity, and assist with directing individuals to appropriate service areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergency situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for incidents, patrols, and other security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
