Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a dynamic technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, parking areas, perimeter, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with directions, credential verification, and escalation of unusual or unauthorized access attempts.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations accurately and complete required reports in accordance with site and Allied Universal procedures.

As a Security Officer Patrol Awareness in Fort Wayne, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, help to deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon – 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue – 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed – 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat – 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun – 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
