Allied Universal in Plainfield, IN is seeking an Unarmed Patrol Officer CPR Certified. You will provide security services at a technology-focused site, conducting patrols, monitoring access points, and maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents.

The role is full-time, pay rate $17.75 per hour, with an evening schedule Wed-Sun 2:00 PM–10:00 PM. The position emphasizes customer service, clear communication, and teamwork within a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access activity, visitor entry, and restricted-area compliance in accordance with post orders, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports, daily activity logs, and incident documentation; communicate observations and security-related concerns to site stakeholders.
