Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Patrol and Response in Scottsdale, AZ. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling and frontline protection for healthcare facilities and other clients.

You will monitor premises, perform patrols, manage access control, and respond to incidents with professionalism. The position emphasizes customer service, clear communication, and adherence to site procedures while representing Allied Universal’s values.

Competenze

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control and alarm response activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to patients, visitors, and staff while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven culture.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.01 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facility buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following site procedures.
• Monitor access points and assist with directing visitors, staff, and deliveries in accordance with facility protocols.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to appropriate site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
