Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide courteous customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment while demonstrating Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to healthcare personnel, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and vendor activity, and support established entry procedures to help maintain an orderly healthcare environment.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrol activities, and security-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
