Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol First Aid Assistance in Sparks, NV. You will serve clients across industries, monitor and patrol data center areas, and provide exceptional customer service while documenting security-related activity.

The role is full-time with a daytime schedule and hourly pay of $25.21. Candidates must meet minimum requirements, including CPR/First Aid certifications and a high school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of data center facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access control points and verify authorized entry, documenting observations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established protocols and notifying responders or site leadership.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports related to patrols, incidents, and access activity.

As a Security Officer Patrol First Aid Assistance in Sparks, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a technology data center, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a professional, welcoming environment while documenting security-related activity and responding to site needs. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of data center facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and support site operations.
• Monitor access control points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, documenting observations and escalating concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying emergency responders and/or site leadership when needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports related to patrols, incidents, access activity, and other security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements

• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
