Allied Universal in Sparks, NV seeks a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Services to monitor a technology data center, control access, and maintain a visible security presence.

You will deliver excellent customer service, document incidents, and support a professional environment while working a fixed night shift schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a technology data center by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of data center buildings, access points, parking areas, utility spaces, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and document entries, exits, and security-related incidents in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation while maintaining awareness of operational requirements within a technology-focused location.

Pay Rate: $25.21 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
