As an Unarmed Security Officer at a technology data center location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support badge and access-control processes, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and deliver outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $25.21 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at a technology data center by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate security-related logs and records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the data center campus, interior areas, exterior perimeter, and access-controlled locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, equipment issues, or policy violations, and support compliance with client requirements for controlled-access technology environments.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
