Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as conditions of employment.

As a Security Officer Patrol Access Control in Olympia, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. Monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, manage access points, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter, reporting unusual conditions or activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain orderly entry and exit from the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
