Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Patrol Access Control in Eden, NC. You will monitor and patrol campus areas, support access control, and provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors at an educational location.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, and parking areas.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting unusual conditions or hazards to site contacts and leadership.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain documentation for patrols and daily activities.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in an educational setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service to students, staff, and visitors. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Thur 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an educational location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas, reporting unusual conditions, policy violations, maintenance concerns, and/or hazards to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation for patrols, incidents, and daily activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
