Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon - 07:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Tue - 07:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Wed - 07:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Thur - 07:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and families by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with school policies, maintaining a professional and welcoming presence.
• Respond to incidents, student-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate school personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
